Welcome to nManCeR’s TekLog

I decided to create this site when I found myself with too much “spare time” on my hands resulting in me emailing out far too much random information, flooding people’s inboxes with links, news updates and technical help. This led to the realization that some of the information may be useful to people in the future, but they don’t necessarily care about it right now. Centralization is the key here. A repository of information on the topics that interest me. At the time of its creation (i.e. today), this site can primarily be considered a “favor” to my friends (and myself). Hopefully it will be interesting and helpful to others who discover it in the future.

Here is a list of the initial topics you can expect to be covered here, although, I certainly expect this list to grow as the site (and my life) evolves and mutates:

  • Apple / Mac news, information and technical help
  • iPhone news, information and technical help
  • Visual effects industry information
  • Entertainment industry tidbits: including movies, games, music and television
  • Techo-gadgetry news and information
  • Time / place shifting of video content: tutorials and technical help for both software and hardware
  • A whole lot of other random things that I find fun, interesting, and strange
  • Seeing as how I’m learning web publishing in the process of creating this site, we can go ahead and add that to the list as well.

You can expect this site to grow quickly. I have a lot of information that I’d like to include here which needs to be written up. I can also tell already that I’m barely scratching the surface of what is possible for the site in terms of formatting and additions like widgets, plugins, mobile blogging, etc. So you can expect a lot of changes in look, feel and functionality. Luckily, as I said, I happen to have a lot of spare time at the moment. So while there’s not much here right now, there will be very soon.

Please feel free to post comments at any time on this site. Anyone interested in contributing, just send me an email and I’ll happily set you up with an account.

Enjoy
